excellent hub for exploring maritime history and local cuisine

I loved my stay here, especially because the staff were so friendly and cared about the guests' experience, and the proximity to the Maritime Museum made my weekend strolls good.

Location: the hotel was next to the city center, the major attractions in Rotterdam and the excellent Maritime Museum.

Marvellous views, loved exceptionally nice setting.

In short, the room was individual, had comfy bed, big bathroom...

This place suits me perfectly, offering great wi-fi, bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception. I vividly remember the staff returning the documents I left behind on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a fantastic experience!

Some of the staff were flexible and helpful. On weekends, breakfast started at 8am but we needed to leave at 8am for the day, so they arranged to have breakfast packs ready for us for that day. Additionally, the area we stayed in the first night was really noisy so the next day the staff arranged to switch our room to a more quieter area, which they did successfully with a nice view.

The walls at the hotel are really thin and can hear people.

It is decently priced. The hotel boasts central location on the river. Rotterdam is good for trip, Leuvehaven subway station is nearby. The service is good, includes paid parking. Besides, you can park your car on-site.

Comfortable room, clean bathroom, excellent breakfast options available, with a convenient location just a short distance from major attractions and only 10 km from the airport.

Everything went smoothly.

We were allowed to check in even though we were nearly 4 hours early. We got a free upgrade to a lovely room that had a fantastic view of the Maas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was very nice and catered for many nationalities.

Mini bar was expensive

The view over the river was great. The size of the room was also very good.

The thon hotel has an excellent location, right by the main shopping center and with tram stops just outside. The staff are fantastic and recognized us from previous visits. We always enjoy the good food, and the river view from our superior double room.

Good location, helpful staff, food and drink. What more do you need?

Perfect location in front of Erasmus brigde, astonishing views on the harbour. Clean, reasonably big room. Nice breakfeast. Value for money is good only if you booked special price.

There is stairs at front entrance. We were with baby and had to lift baby-carrier to enter hotel, around 8-10 steps which is challenging if you are alone.

This was just a top selection for one night in Rotterdam with excellent value for money. The reception staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Avoid rooms facing the street if you're sensitive to noise.

The thing I liked the best, since we came tyo attend a family wedding was that the reception was a 4/5 minute walk away... So we did'nt have to worry about back....

The things I did'nt like were the fact that we, as a group, were separated (as in not next each other's rooms) but what I was most peeved about was that I paid the same as my friends because I booked a double room but I did'nt get the coffee/tea facilities that they got....... I had to go to their room/s to have coffee! I was very displeased about that!

The room and location

We booked 7 expensive rooms and had to pay an extra to keep one of them later since we were running the marathon and wanted to take a shower. We had similar experiences in other hotels where we kept a room for free. The breakfast was also a bit expensive considering the price of the room.
